The 9th Russian Internet Governance Forum (RIGF 2018) will take place on April 6, 2018 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

The 9th Russian Internet Governance Forum will take place in Saint Petersburg, Russia on April 6, 2018. RIGF 2018 seeks to get more actors involved in global internet governance, and add a wider variety of discussion topics to the current agenda. Guests and speakers will discuss new trends in internet governance and challenges facing those involved in this process.

The forum will feature sessions on information security, regional aspects of internet governance, international cooperation and technological innovations. Experts from Russia, China, the US and European countries will talk about who should be playing a more active role in global internet governance, and what can be done to engage new stakeholders.

The event is hosted by Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and supported by ICANN, ISOC, RIPE NCC, APTLD and The Technical Center of Internet. Cybersecurity partner of the Forum – Kaspersky Lab.
