Roberto Gaetano — Public Interest Registry

Roberto Gaetano is the Chairman of the Board of Public Interest Registry (PIR). He has actively participated in Internet policymaking, including the process that created ICANN and its Supporting Organization. He also served six years on the ICANN Board, with three as Liaison of the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) and three as Vice-Chairman.

Roberto Gaetano has more than 30 years of experience in telecommunications and information technology, acquired working for different organizations in different countries. His past employers include IBM, the European Telecommunications Standard Institute (ETSI), the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
